Alice Sophia Eve

Alice Sophia Eve born 6 February 1982 is an English actress. She is known for her lead in She's Out of My League and also appeared in Sex and the City 2. She will also star in the up-coming The Decoy Bride. Alice Eve was born in London, England, the daughter of actors Trevor Eve and Sharon Maughan. She has two younger brothers, Jack and George. Alice Eve is of English, Welsh, and Irish descent. She attended Bedales School and then took her A-Levels at Westminster School in London. During her gap year, she studied at the Beverly Hills Playhouse and then read English at St Catherine's College, Oxford. While at Oxford she appeared in student productions of An Ideal Husband, Animal Crackers (which toured to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival), Scenes from an Execution and The Colour of Justice. London native Alice Eve is fairly new to American film, apart from her American debut in the independent drama Crossing Over. Her previous works include many British TV dramas on the BBC like The Rotters' Club, Poirot, and Hawking, as well as films like Stage Beauty, Starter For 10, and Big Nothing.

Now the 28 year-old has attained her first major Hollywood role as "perfect 10" Molly McCall in the comedy She's Out Of My League. Eve explained for us how she got the part.

"Well, I mean, you probably have to audition like I did and I very happily won the part, which was a nice surprise, Alice recalls, "I think it depends on the situation, the director, the studio, what they want. I was doing a play on Broadway at the time, we had a show on a Sunday afternoon, and I flew out early Monday morning, did the meeting, then flew back, did the show on Tuesday. I guess you have to be there, but sometimes, you can tape from England to get the job.

What sets apart Molly McCall from other Hollywood dream girl characters is that she's not just a pretty face, but a smart and sweet girl.

"I think that's what makes her the 10, she's all the things that make a good person,Alice Eve says of it, "I think for it to be taken away that she's just a perfect 10 aesthetically would be missing the whole point of the movie, the 10 is the complete human being. [It's] incredibly rare, it was great. I thought the paradigm of this role was more of a male lead, she had the money, the power, the desire.

Miranda Cosgrove was born on the day of May 14, 1993 in Los Angeles, California. Her parents did not know their daughter was going to be a star but she was discovered at a young age singing and dancing around a table in a restaurant. An agent saw her talent and quickly signed her. Miranda did several commercials like ones for Burger King, McDonalds, and more. But she also auditioned for many roles and finally got one that would be just the beginning of a wonderful career. She made it, out of 1,000s of kids her age, the role of the band's manager in the hit 4-star movie, The School of Rock (2003). While filming The School of Rock (2003) in New York, she was informed that her pilot "Drake & Josh" (2004) had been picked up. She got the role of Drake and Josh's little sister on the new hit Nick show. Miranda Cosgrove also did voice-over work for the children's movie, Here Comes Peter Cottontail: The Movie (2005) (V) and starred in Yours, Mine and Ours (2005).

Miranda Cosgrove was born in Los Angeles, California, to Tom, who owns a dry cleaning business, and Chris, a stay-at-home mother. At the age of three, she was discovered by a talent agent while singing and dancing at the Los Angeles restaurant Taste of L.A. Miranda Cosgrove stated that when the agent walked up to her and her mom for modeling, she had "never really thought of being an [actress]" and "was lucky". After choosing to take the offer, she appeared in television commercials for McDonald's and Mello Yello, and also modeled. Amanda Joy "AJ" Michalka born April 10, 1991, often credited as AJ, is an American actress, singer-songwriter, and musician. She used to be a model prior to becoming an actress, and was best known as one-half of the duo 78violet (formerly Aly & AJ) with her sister, Alyson Michalka. Amanda Michalkarecently recorded the theme song for the film Secretariat, entitled "It's Who You Are". A video was released along with the single. Amanda began seriously studying acting at the age of 9, landing a lead role in a church musical, "Jailhouse Rock", then later booked a national commercial on her very first audition. She has been consistently working ever since, appearing on television shows on CBS, FOX, HBO, ABC, WB and NBC. Prior to becoming an actress, Amanda Michalka worked as a professional model appearing on magazine covers, store posters and other merchandising ads for National corporations.
